is the capital of British Columbia and is situated on the southern tip
of Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada, just a short ferry
ride from Vancouver B.C. or Seattle Washington.
It has become a prime travel destination in recent years, and has
recently been designated as one of the top travel destinations in

BC Ferries you
can take a ferry leaving Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal (about a 35 min drive
from downtown Vancouver south). Large modern ferries with restaurants,
kids area, comfy chairs, gift shop, and plenty of windows for which as
been described as one of the most scenic crossings in North America.
Ferries leave hourly during peak season with a sailing time of 90
minutes, crossing to Swartz Bay (30 minute drive north of Victoria).
