The Red Lion Inn & Suites is located on Douglas Street, the main
street in Victoria. There are several major shopping malls, supermarkets
and restaurants within walking distance. The Hotel is also just 10
minutes drive from Victoria’s Inner Harbor and all the attractions.
The Red Lion Inn is the only hotel located on the famous Galloping
Goose Trail. It gives our guests a unique way to discover Victoria by

Airport
By Car: Take the #17 Highway South to Victoria. As you near Victoria,
you will see a ‘clock tower’ (Gateway Plaza) on your left and Wal-Mart
on your right, followed by Save-On-Foods on your left. Turn right at the
next intersection onto Saanich Road. Pass the 1st stoplight and make a
left-hand turn onto Douglas Street. Red Lion Inn hotel is on your right
and its ‘tower’ will signal your arrival.
By Airport Shuttle Bus: Take the Airport Shuttle Bus after departing
your plane. The bus will take you directly to Red Lion Inn Hotel.
From Coho Ferry Terminal, Victoria Clipper, downtown Victoria,
Victoria Conference Centre, Royal B.C. Museum, Inner Harbour
By Car: Take Douglas Street (heading North) and watch for the Mayfair
Mall (on your right). Once you have crossed the stoplight (at Cloverdale
Ave.), you will see the Red Lion Inn’s TOWER to your left.
From Upper Vancouver Island and the Victoria General Hospital
By Car: Take Highway #1 south. After you pass Wall-Mart (on your left)
you will cross Saanich Road and the Red Lion Inn’s TOWER will be
immediately on your right.
From the University of Victoria
By Car: Take McKenzie Avenue west. Turn left on #17 Highway south to
Victoria. As you near Victoria, you will see a ‘clock tower’ (Gateway
Plaza) on your left and Wal-Mart on your right, followed by
Save-On-Foods on your left. Turn right at the next intersection onto
Saanich Road. Pass the 1st stoplight and make a left-hand turn onto
Douglas Street. Red Lion Inn hotel is on your right and its ‘tower’ will
signal your arrival.
