West Vancouver is one of Canada’s most picturesque residential areas
just west of Lions Gate Bridge in
Stanley Park.
When you
stroll along the seawall or down the different village streets, don't be
surprised if you see someone you recognize. West Vancouver is the
home-away-from-home for many movie stars, musicians and professional
athletes who are often seen dining in a fine restaurant or just sipping
coffee at the cafes. It is still categorized as Canada's wealthiest
community on a per capita basis. Million dollar monster homes are easy
to find.
West Vancouver is home to the communities of
Ambleside,
Dundarave,
Park
Royal, British Properties, Westhill, Camelot, Whitby Estates, Altamont,
Caufeild and Horseshoe Bay (to name a few). Its scenery is only second
place to the hospitality of its people and business owners.
If you keep heading west you will come upon the small Village of
Dundarave with its quaint shops and restaurants. For a picturesque drive
to Horseshoe Bay keep heading west and you will wind around some of the
most expensive homes and neighbourhoods in all of Canada. |
