The picturesque village of Deep Cove has a very laid back atmosphere, the people
are friendly and there is plenty to do. There are shops to browse through,
several restaurants, places to buy ice cream cones and a theater and arts center
to explore. There is a small children's playground just steps from the beach at
Panorama Park, and in the summer months it's a great spot for a picnic.
The view is awesome and if you want a closer look at the water you can
hire a kayak.

Deep Cove is a one-of-a-kind, quirky place. Nestled by the waters of Indian Arm,
at the east end of the North Shore, it is one of the two villages of the North
Shore, the other being Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.
Deep Cove epitomizes what the North Shore is known for: tranquility, scenic
beauty, and a warm cosy atmosphere that makes you want to sit down and stay.
Boating, hiking and nature typify this area.
Gallant Avenue and Panorama Drive are at the heart of the Cove. Gallant avenue
offers fine restaurants, friendly caf้s and delightful shops, along with a
theatre well known for its productions.
While Deep Cove itself is not a new area, a lot of the homes lining its streets
are. Other, expanded and restored homes, dating back 30 or 40 years, add
character and charm. A select few homes on the waterfront, offer their own
private moorage.
