Submitted by: Cindy on 2006-11-27 South Point Hotel and Casino Review: Believe everything you read on the reviews. I booked this hotel based on them and was very satisfied with my choice. We stayed for 3 nights, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. It was only 15 minutes to the strip, we learned to take I-15 up and get off at the nearest exit to our destination. Much faster than taking the strip. Would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend, if they don't need to stay right on the strip. Big flat screen tv was great. Large room size very comfortable. Windows faced east and gave too much light at edges of curtains beginning at 5:30am (for me anyway). Wednesday night pool party was great with good food and drink, all free courtesy of player card desk. |
