A towering beacon of indulgence, the Egyptian-themed Luxor Hotel and Casino is a 30-story pyramid with two 22-story towers, boasts a Sky Beam which is the strongest in the world and visible from Outer Space, occupies 47 acres on the Strip, and is approximately three miles from McCarran International Airport.
The hotel's casino features tables for blackjack, baccarat, and pai gow can be found alongside slot machines, a poker room, race and sports book, high-limit lounge, and a keno lounge. Live entertainment includes big name entertainers, the adult revue Fantasy, and the comedian Carrot Top. The IMAX Theatre offers a selection of new movies including some in 3-D. Nurture, the Spa at Luxor is available for a daily fee of 20 (waived if a treatment of 60 or more is purchased), and features a whirlpool, sauna, men's cold plunge, free fruit juice and mineral water, fitness center, massages, and beauty treatments. Other amenities include four outdoor pools, whirlpools, poolside beverage services, cabana rentals, the Games of the Gods arcade, a museum that recreates King Tut's tomb to meticulous detail, 29 retail stores, and golf arrangements. Dining options include eight restaurants, and a food court with several fast food eateries.

Guest rooms feature at least 420 square feet of space, high-speed Internet access, TVs, alarm clocks, and oversized showers.

Overall Rating:

The Luxor is not one of the premiere properties in Las Vegas, but there are usually good deals to be found there. The property has everything you need, but it certainly doesn't wow you. For children, though, there are a lot of attractions.
