| The structure which is now the Madison Post
Road Bed & Breakfast was originally a farmhouse built by Jedediah Field
in 1820. Today, it has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 4 bay windows, 3
fireplaces, a living room, dining room, family room and kitchen. Its
location in a New England town near the beach and midway between New
York City and Boston makes it ideal for commuters and tourists. The
unique architectural features of the house is a portico - a 2nd floor
bedroom that extends over the driveway and is supported by columns.
Inside, there is a comfortable, pleasing environment - a composite of an
interesting floor plan, tasteful color scheme, good maintenance and
attractive furnishings. |
