I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cincinnati. The rooms,
although a little dated, are large and spacious, and the staff are top
notch. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again.

The reason you stay at the Garfield is to get a big room for a little
price. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit worn and not that clean (food
in the trash can). Convenient location, but I do not recommend walking
the neighborhood.

Pros: Front desk/reservations staff was very helpful and courteous,
Sunday brunch was decent, beds were clean and comfortable, bathrooms
were clean and neat, location was primo! Cons: Hotel unable to control
its unruly and loud guests who partied till 3-4 am, walls were too thin,
construction went on at night at 3:30 am (!), valet took too long,
standard rooms were startlingly tiny.

Nice clean room with comfortable beds and furniture. Very nice amenities
for a good price on a premium weekend in Cincinnati. Everything worked
well in the room.

Front desk staff talked very quickly and almost rude, other staff great,
internet access, restaurant for B-L good, room service good, clean,
bathroom smaller than expected.

The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, but I was not
inconvenienced by it. My room had been re-done and was clean and
adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location provided excellent
access to expressways and downtown. Good location for business traveler
but I'm not sure I'd recommend for a family. No place to walk to.

I needed a hotel within walking distance to the 6th Circuit Court of
Appeals-did not want to use rental car. Hotel was great for an atty who
needed email, internet and faxes. Bed was super comfortable, I could
walk to court and lots of good restaurants, room service was prompt and
late enough for a night owl. Also, indoor pool and hot tub small, but
great and clean and relaxing. My only beef-just a little pricey for what
it is- both quality of food and size of room. I'll stay there again when
I come to Cincinnati.

We stayed here to be close to the ballpark. Nice staff and any question
we had was answered promptly. The convenience to area attractions was a
benefit. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the room, but we would
stay there again the next time we go to games.

We chose this hotel for the indoor heated pool. Our children had
swimming gear packed. No pool - closed for maintenance. We could have
gotten a cheaper hotel without a pool. hotel was very clean though...and
the rooms were bigger than average. Breakfast was also nicer than most
complimentary breakfasts...
