Simon Fraser is a smoke free campus. There is no smoking permitted within any building located on the campus. No pets are permitted unless required for medical purposes. More than a University: Contemporary Arts Theatre at SFU presents lively and entertaining student works in dance, film, music and theatre each spring and fall. The SFU Bookstore offers a tranquil environment for customers to browse and read at their leisure with a great selection of SFU crested sportswear, souvenirs, school/office supplies. The WAC Bennett Library welcomes the general public to use books and other library resources. The Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology hosts an exhibition of artifacts from around the world, with a focus on British Columbia. The Microcomputer Store is an arm of Academic Computing Service with a large selection of brand-name hardware and software, CD-R’s, printer supplies, accessories and cables. Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area features the resplendent Rose Gardens, hiking and walking trails, picnic areas and children’s playground. The fascinating “Playground of the Gods” sculpture is a must see. Hiking and Biking trails are easily accessible and suitable for all skill levels and were featured in Outside Magazine.
