Reviews of Hotels in Burnaby

Executive Inn Burnaby

*Friendly staff
*The hotel restaurant, 'Tivoli's', is good
*Microwave, refrigerator in every room, and the grocery store is half a block away. Good way to save money on breakfast, lunch, midnight snacks, etc.
*Clean, comfortable rooms. Well maintained property, for the most part
*Short 15 minute drive to downtown Vancouver - but if you didn't get a car for the trip you may have trouble (though it looked like there was a light rail station nearby)
*There are a number of nice restaurants and shops just up the hill on Hastings street that cater more to locals and are hence are a bit cheaper (Akira sushi was pretty good for take out meals in our room, and almost half the price of similar fare downtown)
Hilton Burnaby Metrotown
"Very nice"
ariesgal, Walnut, CA May 28, 2008

Got upgraded to an executive suite since they have no more standard room. Free parking in the garage for registered guests, though it's one of the more ridiculous garage, very difficult to navigate. Extremely good services. Food court + food market right next to the hotel with tons of asian food choices. Right across Metropolis - the largest shopping mall in British Columbia. About 15 mins to downtown Vancouver. Free internet. Very good values especially when lodging costs in Vancouver is so expensive. Bed was a bit soft to me. Provide Crabtree products.
Accent Inn Burnaby

A good safe location with pet friendly rooms. Mattresses ok, Good water pressure for showers. Had a major sewer back up which flooded several rooms,( including mine) staff went out of the way to accommodate everyone involved. I would stay there again.
Best Western Kings Inn
Stayed there for 3 days when first came to Vancouver. Very clean well maintained hotel. Breakfast was a usual continental kind. I had nothing to complain.

The area is not good for tourists. Downtown Vancouver is better. But if you need to stay in Burnaby close to Metrotown, this is a very good choice.
Holiday Inn Express Metrotown
I stayed for 7 nights for business in early March and found my stay to be very comfortable and enjoyable.

I think it's pretty obvious that this is a great hotel for the price. The location is excellent, the staff are nice, the amenities and convenience are excellent, and the very reasonable prices are the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this hotel to business travellers and to families on vacation.
Ramada Inn Metrotown
Hotel Staff and Service.

I was impressed by the friendliness and helpful and cheerful attitude of the staff at the front desk of this hotel. The maid service were equally friendly and helpful. When I needed directions or even to get something printed late at night, because the printer in the business center was broken, the staff was always accommodating to my needs.
