Located at the end
of Inner Harbor, the Maryland Science Center provides visitors with an
interactive voyage into science. A must see, the museum has an extensive
array of displays and exhibits. All three floors present hands-on
exhibits highlighting energy, the Hubble Space Telescope, the human
body, static electricity, holograms, and so much more. The museum will
stretch your mind, with the live demonstrations and permanent exhibits.
The permanent exhibits at the museum span across the time: The
Prehistoric Dinosaur exhibit takes you back in time to investigate the
presence of dinosaurs in the Maryland area; While the Chesapeake Bay
exhibits the lives of aquatic animals presently living within the bay.
The museum also features an illuminating view of the sky from The Davis
Planetarium, as well as an amazing five-story IMAX Theater.
All Science Center ticket options begin with base admission to the
Science Center. IMAX films and traveling exhibitions are add-on options
that are specially priced and packaged along with base admission for
your convenience. The Science Center does offer IMAX Only tickets after
5:00 pm on certain days of the week.
The IMAX Theater is open after hours for evening shows; the
Observatory is open after hours on Fridays for Stargazing Fridays; and
the Kids Room closes one hour prior to museum closing Sundays through
Thursdays and two hours prior to close Fridays and Saturdays.
Guests may exit and re-enter the building as often as they like once
admission for the day has been purchased as long as a valid wristband
for the day is being worn.

The Maryland Science Center is conveniently located at Baltimore's
Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore. The Science Center is accessible
from I-95 and I-295 from the south, I-95 and I-83 from the north, and
I-70 to the west. Light rail and MARC Trains stop at Camden Yards, only
four blocks away from the Science Center.
