Disneyland Hotel Submitted by: Lynn H. of Havelock, NC USA Date of visit: 05/06 We visited Disneyland for the first time and staying at the Disneyland Hotel is the only way to go. The room was clean and the beds so comfy. We are planning on visiting again this summer and plan on staying again!! Submitted by: Susan S. of Westerville, OH USA Date of visit: 04/06 We have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel at Easter for the past 3 years. We enjoy the location and the services the hotel has to offer. The rooms are satisfactory. The children enjoy the area. I have always found the staff to be helpful and customer oriented. The hotel is not the greatest value for your money. You are paying for the Disney name and experience. Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel Submitted by: Jennifer J. of Sun City, CA United States Date of visit: 04/07 This is a great hotel to stay at when you visit the Disneyland Resort. It is affordable and within walking distance to the parks. The staff is always accommodating and nice. Submitted by: Mary W. Date of visit: 04/07 Our stay at Paradise Pier was very enjoyable. We loved being able to take a break during the "Disney" day to rest. Rooms extremely clean and well kept. Decor adorable. Beds very comfortable. Knotts Berry Farm Resort Hotel Submitted by: Dawn D. of redwood city, ca united states Date of visit: 04/07 Great location if destination is knotts. Had problems with check in. Room not ready at 6 pm when I wanted to check in. Extra $10 for parking at hotel. Room comfortable and enjoyed stay but would have liked to have a fridge or microwave for price of room. Would stay again. Submitted by: Mercedes M. of Phoenix, AZ USA Date of visit: 03/07 Location was perfect, close to everything. Rooms need updating otherwise they were in acceptable condition. Staff was very courteous and although we didn't visit the pool it looked like fun! Holiday Inn Anaheim Submitted by: Rhonda K. of lakeside, CA united states Date of visit: 05/07 I am a single mom and I would stay here again, the price was great! my daughter was able to see the fireworks at Disneyland every night!. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean! we loved to come back from a long day to relax in the pool. I cant express enough how pleased I was for the price, comfort and the distance from Disneyland. Submitted by: A. F. Date of visit: 04/07 We were very pleased with this hotel. Facilities have been well kept and staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. The restaurant was good-we liked the breakfast menu better than the dinner menu, but both were good. The pool and spa were great. Would stay there again. Holiday Inn Anaheim-Resort Area Submitted by: Steve K. of Oceanside, Ca USA Date of visit: 01/01 I had made the reservation for the wrong date and needed to change it to the nest day. It was a change from a Wednesday to a Thursday. I was not able to change without losing the $100 spent on the first room. The receptionist first said that she was really busy and I would need to call her back later to get help when I called the first time to try to change. not good customer service. would not go or suggest again. Needs Improvement: customer service Submitted by: Nancy A. of Creston, Ia USA Date of visit: 04/07 This was a great location. I searched around for the best reviews and this Holiday Inn had the best price and the best reviews. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone. Everything was great. We rode the shuttle for $3 a day. Bought our Disneyland tickets at the front desk. The rooms were very nice and very quiet. They were very clean and spacious. We also had a refrigerator which was nice. Nice restaurants very close by in driving distance. Shuttle came every 20 - 30 minutes. We plan on staying again when we go back. More Hotels in Anaheim Hilton Anaheim Submitted by: Shila C. of Lake Stevens, WA USA Date of visit: 04/07 An older Hilton but still nice and comfortable. One night our key did not work and security came right away. Great location and felt very safe there. Submitted by: Alicia G. of Lincoln, NE USA Date of visit: 12/06 I loved this motel. We stayed on the executive level and it was great. You have a private concierge for this floor and a special lounge that offers free breakfast, snacks, and a view. Being able to see the fireworks at night from Disneyland was also very romantic. Double Tree Guest Suites Anaheim Resort Submitted by: S N. of Sammamish, WA Date of visit: 04/07 WOW.. We were impressed, the Anaheim Doubletree was impressive. Clean new rooms. Our room had a bedroom and separate living room with modern furnishings. The bed was also very comfortable. The only issue is the bus system that runs Disneyland visitors to and from local hotels, but that stops by 11pm, You will be happy with this hotel, plus it is only a shuttle ride to Disney park. We have a family trip planned next April and we will be back to stay here again. Submitted by: Kathleena H. of Queen Creek, AZ United States Date of visit: 11/06 My husband and I took our two oldest children on their first Disneyland experience and chose this hotel on a drive by whim. The room was terrific. My husband and I had total privacy in our own bedroom. While the kids had the whole living room with a fold out couch and their own TV that had cartoons on the whole time. We never really encountered the staff. Other than that, the high $$$$ parking needs to go though. Above all, we are planning another trip in a few days and you will definitely see us there:) Quality Inn and Suites Anaheim Resort Submitted by: Sue M. of Thousand Oaks, CA USA Date of visit: 03/07 Was first given a room with a door that did not lock. My complaint got me transferred to another room; I was given a renovated room that was small but clean and pleasant. Price was right. Submitted by: Don G. of Santa Rosa, ca usa Date of visit: 01/07 I travel to Disneyland a lot (bi-monthly) and this is my favorite place to stay. They are still remodeling, ask for a newer room. All rooms have a fridge and microwave at no extra cost, rooms are half price of one's directly on harbor blvd but you're still only a 10 minute safe walk to the park. I've had to change rooms due to noise before and the staff is VERY accommodating. Clean, safe, value, and nice rooms...just ask for a newer one! If the hotel is busy be sure to get up early if you want waffles! Anabella Hotel Submitted by: Amy M. of salt lake, Ut US Date of visit: 05/07 My family and I really liked our room. We liked the separate room for the kids. The room was large enough that we didn't feel cramped. Nice beds, very clean. My only complaint would be the shower heads-The water didn't spray out, it just seemed to pour out. Definitely will stay again/recommend to all my friends Submitted by: Colleen B. of Calgary, AB Canada Date of visit: 05/07 Okay, the grounds were well kept, but we rented a room, not the landscaping. Room was small and stains on the carpet gave me the willys. Daybed was only big enough for a child, and "queen" bed was really a double. The "bedroom" was as big as a small walk-in closet and was completely filled by daybed and TV. Air conditioning didn't work most of the time. Room overlooked trucking yard which was noisy at all hours of day and night. Food at Tangerine restaurant was very overpriced. Tasted okay, but not fabulous. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Ramada Limited Maingate North Disney Submitted by: Luis R. G. of Lacey, WA Date of visit: 05/07 The presentation in the internet is way different of the real thing, the front desk girl (night shift) have no clue of what is with the internet connection. Then you enter the room with this awful smell (humidity). The only thing that we appreciate was the service of the housekeepers, when my wife had a medical emergency and they were concern about how she was doing. Ramada Plaza Hotel Anaheim Resort Submitted by: kathy v. of Tracy, ca usa Date of visit: 12/06 My family (husband, 9 & 4 year old)stayed here for 5 days to celebrate New Year's Eve at Disneyland. We were very pleased with the room and it's small frig, microwave and sofa. It worked great for us. Buffet in the hotel and good pizza place right next door. Shuttle picks you up in front of the hotel for Disneyland but close enough to walk too. Submitted by: Mike E. of Salem, OR Date of visit: 08/06 We would gladly stay at this hotel again. The only improvement I would suggest is to install a shelf or countertop for cosmetics/toiletries in the bathroom. Sheraton Park Anaheim Resort Submitted by: Gwen R. Date of visit: 04/07 Great hotel. Very clean and the beds were fantastic. Only one complaint. The elevators took forever! Would have taken the stairs but could not muster carrying a 5 year old down 14 flights. Submitted by: Jon S. of Pleasanton, CA USA Date of visit: 04/07 A great three day Disney weekend was complemented by the staff at the Sheraton. The front desk and Guest Services staff are excellent! They stored our luggage on our early arrival (we arrived at 9am), and set us up with the shuttle to SNA on our departure. While not directly on the grounds of Disney, it's a reasonable walk to the Pumon parking lot shuttle. We walked back & forth through the weekend. Only issue was the noise from the neighboring room of cheerleaders. Adjoining room doors are not sound-proof. Not a huge problem, we weren't in the room much! Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort Submitted by: Jason b. of Littleton, co usa Date of visit: 03/07 my wife and child stayed 4 nights for spring break. nice hotel. look around for deals, I payed half of what the other people in our party did, at the same hotel. don't rely on any service from the shuttle drivers. Submitted by: Teresa W. of Burbank, CA USA Date of visit: 01/07 This was a very pleasant stay. My fiancé and I decided to plan a last minute trip. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the hotel. It was beautiful inside and out. The standard room was very large and the bed was super comfortable. There is a family restaurant and a Crab Shack within walking distance, along with Target. The shuttle service was very prompt and convenient. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Marriott Anaheim Suites Submitted by: Jennifer A. Date of visit: 03/07 The hotel was beautiful and clean, as was our room. The location across the street from Target was handy, but it was farther than I thought from Disneyland. The shuttle was nice, but we had to wait every time, as it arrives "every 20 minutes" rather than on a set time schedule. LOVED having a Starbucks in the lobby. The only drawback I found with the hotel was the size of the room. It was well laid out, but quite small. Overall, I was very happy with the hotel and would stay there again. Submitted by: Tony Y. Date of visit: 09/06 The rooms were very large and clean, in fact the whole hotel was very eye pleasing. During my stay it was very peaceful and quiet with very little traffic and I love the many different accommodations for the business traveler (i.e. business center, work desk, wireless & phone connections, etc). My one disappointment is that the ice vending machine is on every other floor so I had to go up or down a floor to get access and the vending machines were out of order for the late night individuals like me. Aside from the minor issue, I would stay here again. | |
