Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel

There was only one thing that bothered me, I went to get breakfast in the morning, (continental $8, hot continental $12) I decided got the $12 one. I got my eggs Benedict and realized that the whole egg shell was still on the half egg. When I complained and asked for a discount the waitress said "That will be *insert total cost here*" I tried to explain to her that I was unsatisfied with my egg shell Benedict, but she didn't budge. *hotel does not strive for customer service.

I was not pleased with the check in, the accommodations, the cleanliness of the room, the attitude of the front counter staff, very poor experience

Delta Edmonton Centre

The hotel is not for families or single women. The hotel was built in mall space which means most rooms are a very long walk from the elevator. I was approached by a gruff man in front of the business centre asking for money. The hallway from the parking garage to the hotel smelled like urine. I won't be staying there again.

It was our first time staying at a Fairmont, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Ramada Inn & Water Park Edmonton

The hotel is showing it's age, but the kids have a blast at the water park. It would be nice if the water park opened before 4 on weekdays though.

Having spent 3 busy days at your hotel we were not able to enjoy all the amenities offered, but wish to compliment your staff. They were most helpful, cordial and went out of their way to answer our questions.

We could have saved ourselves money because our two sons would have been happy just being in the trucker theme room for the entire time. They loved it and the theme room was definitely the highlight of our family trip!!

Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton

My experience with this property took place in: February, 2008
Would I recommend this hotel to my best friend? absolutely!
I recommend this hotel for: A romantic getaway, Girlfriend getaway, Older travelers, Tourists
We stayed for two nights in a sutton king room on the top floor (believe it was the 29th, but I'm not sure). The room was very well kept, clean and everything you would expect. The shower was a bit old but nothing really to complain about. The King was massive and comfortable and the decor was plain but new.
The staff was friendly and always accommodating, they provided cutlery, extra towels, bath robes with no fuss and were kind throughout our stay. We will be staying here again if we go to Edmonton in the future. Also the location is great, right downtown.

Holiday Inn Express Downtown Edmonton

Very clean, but not needlessly sophisticated. Comfort all through.
LONG hallways mean quite a walk from lobby to elevators to room; maintenance staff keeping too much stuff in hallway during the day.
“Excellent location, right next to the Red Arrow bus depot in Edmonton. 1 block from Edmonton's LRT system and several bus routes. Downtown area and City Center mall / theaters, legislature walking distance as well, quick LRT ride (<5 minutes) to University of Alberta campus. Great amenities and in-room services.”

Excellent renovations and bathroom. Good efficient morning breakfast.
Slow elevators, poor heat control in room.
“This was an unexpected pleasure. The location is very central and well serviced by the airport shuttle. The rooms have been redone in an excellent modern style and the bathrooms have been particularly well refitted. Large TV, nice balcony, good bed, player with radio and high speed internet. The included quick self serve breakfast downstairs is perfectly adequate. There were problems with the heat control in the room they acknowledged it, but this won't be an issue in summer and the 2 elevators were slow, worse considering that a couple of High school teams were staying at the hotel and tied up the elevators continuously. The staff was responsive and courteous. Outdoor parking was available, but sometimes full. All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel.”

Crowne Plaza Hotel Edmonton-Chateau Lacombe

Exceptional hotel in downtown Edmonton; Great value
By Vern from Vancouver Island, BC

This is a landmark building in Edmonton and - at one point in the 1960's - the tallest building in the city.
The hotel has a kind of retro-cool to it - with it's circular architecture and rotating restaurant at the top of the building.
The views from the rooms and the restaurant are amazing.
The rooms are very comfortable and homey - and are pie slice-shaped. The rooms seem to be updated with new furniture - but still seem to have an upscale 60's feel to them.
The room was not huge - but very comfortable.
The rotating restaurant is upscale - but the food was amazing. Make sure you try the deserts - especially the cheesecake.
Also, the room price makes this an exceptional deal. I paid $69 for a room with an amazing view of the valley during peak season. That just can't be beaten.
Overall, staying here was extremely satisfying and I will certainly stay here next time I am in Edmonton.
