Banff National Park.
Winter temperatures are below freezing, but regular 'chinook' warming
trends relieve the cold and often result in snowfall.
Temperatures can dip as low as –30º C (22º F) in the winter, but more
normal conditions - even in the coldest months of December and January -
bring average winter temperatures ranging from highs of -6ºC (22ºF) to
lows of -15ºC (5ºF).
