Banff Caribou Lodge

This hotel was awesome. If you want comfort, this is the place to go. It has a spa in the hotel and a free hot tub for resting up those sore muscles from a full day of skiing! I would definitely go back.

Rooms are ok but no air conditioning. Fan in room but cannot adjust speeds. Had to leave window open very noisy.

Banff Ptarmigan Inn

Room was wonderful. We didn't get the room promised but it was a wonderful room. But it needed AC. The room was hotter than out side. There was always some dishes in the hall. For the cost...it could of had AC and clean halls.

We found our room to be clean & comfortable, though cramped. We were disappointed with the lack of common space to relax. After spending the day out, neither the lobby, deck, or patios by the rooms offered any ambiance or view of the beautiful Rockies.

The room had just been remodelled and was quite nice. We had a kitchenette which was very well furnished. The room was quiet and the bed was good as well. With the restaurant costs so expensive, having the kitchenette saved us mucho dollars!

the fireplace smell overwhelms this room. No microwave or fridge available. No view, just trees. bathroom was nice and big but needs counter space for toiletries.

The room was lovely, especially the fireplace and the bathroom; claw foot tub and slate floors, just beautiful. Quite on the outside, but a bit noisy on the inside, but it's not really a party place. It's more for relaxation.

I thought it was on the expensive side. But you're paying for the location because it's within easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. A basic continental breakfast is included in the price. Rooms were clean and comfortable and parking is under the building and secure. The room had a small balcony but faced busy Banff Ave. An elevator was available, but was small and cramped when using the cart to and from the garage. If you like more of a city feel, this would be a good choice.

The location of this hotel is great. It is located across from the ski hub where all the buses stop to pick up passengers for the 3 major ski slopes. There are many many many small stores around the hotel, and there is a mall within 1 block of the hotel. I LOVED the hotel, very close to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Royal Canadian Lodge Banff Rundlestone Lodge Banff

This is a cute little boutique hotel with fireplaces in the rooms and a romantic Alpine atmosphere. I was a little disappointed given the ambience of the lobby that the furnishings were unimaginative and the room, which was right on the street, was very small. Overall, a nice place to stay for a night though and convenient to downtown Banff.

I was surprised when my wind shield window was cleaned by the staff while it was parked on the parking structure during the night. This kind of extra great service I did not expect.

Great Hotel! After leaving the Douglas Fir across the street (it was terrible!), this hotel is what we were expecting for our family vacation. We can not wait to be back!
