Banff Springs Golf Course

The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course

Renowned for its panoramic beauty, The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is a captivating and challenging layout set in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains.

The course offers just two simple things. First, a breathtaking view in every direction and second, a magnificent layout that thrills every golfer fortunate enough to spend a day here. Amateurs and professionals alike are constantly amazed by its panoramic challenge. From the actual hole design to the optical illusions created by the surrounding mountains, this course will delight and tempt you.

The brainchild of legendary Canadian architect Stanley Thompson, creator of numerous classic Canadian golf courses, Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is widely regarded as his finest contribution to the game. Adeptly demonstrating the symbiotic relationship between a great course and its locale, his 1928 creation winds its way along the banks of the Bow River under the picturesque silhouette of Mount Rundle, forever associated with the Banff skyline.

In 1989 the course was expanded to 27 holes, making for an extended round in the majestic Rockies.

A golf academy and practice facility will assist you in sharpening your game before your day on the links. Club and shoe rentals are also available.

Transportation
The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course Clubhouse is a 30-minute walk from the hotel. A shuttle service is available between the hotel and the Clubhouse, and leaves every half hour (on the hour and half hour) from the hotel's main entrance.
