Mountain terrain at the three resorts includes: Groomed runs Gladed slopes Bowls Chutes Gullies Terrain parks All local ski resorts offer everything from green through double-black diamond runs, with great variety for any level of skier. If you have your own gear and need tuning and repairs, there are ski technicians at ski shops in both Banff and Lake Louise. The ski resorts run shuttle services to and from most hotels in the Town of Banff. Lift passes covering all three ski resorts (Tri-Area passes) are available and include bus transportation to and from the Banff townsite. For skiers with individual lift passes, bus fares cost extra.
