Kelowna Ski Resort
Big White is a modern alpine village offering the ultimate mountain
experience. Consistently voted one of the top ski resorts in the world,
Big White is still relatively undiscovered.
The resort is British Columbia’s second largest ski resort and offers
world-class restaurants and full ski-in, ski-out access, but still at an
affordable price. Big White’s unhurried, unpretentious and friendly
ambiance will make your stay on the mountain unforgettable.
At Big White Ski Resort we are all about the snow. On average 24 feet of
Mother Nature’s finest, dry, champagne powder falls annually creating
our world famous snow ghosts and blanketing our long cruzing slopes.
With over 118 runs, five powder bowls and plenty of sunshine you’ll soon
realize why we’ve been consistently voted one of the top ski resorts in
the world.
Big White is situated on the edge of the Monashee mountains, a mere 56
km from Kelowna, the largest city in
the Okanagan Valley. The village accommodates Canada’s most modern
totally ski-in/ski-out resort properties and provides you with
everything you'll need for a great vacation within walking distance.
This year we’ve added a new six-person chairlift, the ‘Snow Ghost
Express’ to our 15 other express chairs, gondola, and surface lifts,
offering one of the most comfortable lift systems in North America which
guarantees you short lines.
For your family, Big White has everything and it’s all at exceptionally
affordable prices. There’s even a flaming shot gun coffee drink at
Canada’s award winning restaurant and bar Snowshoe Sam’s.
Voted ‘Best Weather’ by Ski Canada Magazine, you too can feel the
difference natural snow makes as you cruz the long rolling groomers, hit
the powder bowls or watch your mates ride the rails and try their luck
at the Olympic sized super pipe. Big White is the second most popular
resort in super natural British Columbia, one of the world’s greatest
snow sport states.
Come and see for yourself why Ski Canada Magazine bestows so many ‘Best
of Skiing in Canada’ awards to Big White each and every year!
Big White’s Main Street is actually a ski run, where guests can ski to
their doorstep or stroll through the village shopping and dining in
world-class restaurants and pubs. This completely ski-in, ski-out modern
village provides everything you will need for a great vacation, all
